How do I change my profile details or password?
Open Settings. You can update your profile details there. If you signed in with Google, there is no password to change here. Manage it in your Google account.
How do I delete my account?
Settings has a Delete account option. It removes your account and your data straight away, including your uploaded files. Copies that remain in our providers' routine backups age out within 30 days of that deletion.
Why are these tools free?
Because the information that gets people hired shouldn't sit behind a paywall.
Other career sites charge for these tools. They are free here, so more people can land the job and the life they want.

What uses my AI?
Actions that run an AI model use part of this week's AI usage. That includes the Resume Analyzer, job analysis, tailored resumes, interview preparation, offer reports and AI rewrites in the resume editor.
Your usage and when it resets are shown in Settings.
Can I get more?
Share your referral link from Settings. When a friend runs their first action, you get more of a week's AI.
Can I use the resume editor without AI?
Yes. Editing, storage and export in the resume editor work without running an AI tool.

How do I get my resume scored?
Upload your resume to the free Resume Analyzer. You see what a recruiter sees in about 60 seconds.
Why not use ChatGPT to fix my resume?
AI is a good start, but it doesn't know what a real recruiter looks for. It won't tell you that your best achievement is buried on page two.
I keep applying but never hear back. What am I doing wrong?
Usually one of three things: a recruiter can't tell in 10 seconds what role you're targeting, your title doesn't match the job, or your best results are buried too far down to notice.

Where do I keep track of the jobs I apply to?
Open Jobs to see the jobs you are tracking and add a new one.
Is decoding a job really free?
Yes. Decoding a job takes no sign-up, no resume, and no card. A free account only comes in when you want to see how your resume matches.
What happens to the job I paste?
We send it to our recruiter model to read it, and that is it. Nothing about you is saved.
Privacy
Is my resume sent to an AI provider?
When you use an AI feature, the text you gave us (your resume, the job description and any notes you added) is sent to Google and processed by the Gemini API to generate the result.
If you would rather a document was never sent to an AI provider, do not run an AI tool on it.
How do I get a copy of my data, or have it corrected?
